Our charity community outreach program is dedicated to assisting the Boom Boom Mattukaran Community, a marginalized group facing homelessness and extreme poverty. This community, located in Avalpoondurai, Erode District, comprises approximately 40 families, including over 150 children. All of them are illiterate and many rely on begging for survival, lacking access to basic amenities, living under coconut leaves hut.

Our charity journey with the Boom Boom Mattukaran Community has been an incredible and transformative experience. It all began with a simple act of kindness: preparing and serving a community lunch of delicious chicken biryani right at their place. This helped us forge a strong bond and establish a relationship based on trust.

At the outset, the community leader, Mr. Eswaran, was initially hesitant, but as time went on, he began to accept us and placed a great deal of trust in our efforts. Now, we have been granted full freedom to work alongside them and make a positive difference in their lives.

During our interactions, we discovered that the community members did not possess Aadhaar Cards, an essential identification document in India. We took the initiative and successfully helped obtain Aadhaar Cards for 150 children, ensuring they have access to government benefits and services.

Furthermore, we learned that the children often went hungry during school days. To address this pressing issue, we initiated a mid-day meal program to provide nutritious meals and alleviate their hunger, enabling them to focus on their education.

Understanding the challenges posed by harsh weather conditions, we provided tarpaulin sheets and bedsheets twice, offering protection during the rainy seasons and winter. We also constructed a temporary tin shed to provide shelter for sleeping at night and serve as a space for studying and recreational activities during the day.

During the challenging times of the COVID-19 lockdown, we extended our support to all the families by providing them with rice and groceries for an entire month, ensuring their basic needs were met.

Our love for the community and our deep emotional connection to this project drive our unwavering passion to bring about lasting changes. We are committed to making a positive impact and improving the lives of the Boom Boom Mattukaran Community. This project holds a special place in our hearts, and we remain dedicated to transforming their lives for the
better.
